You should see the other guy, Mom!

Grant fell at school yesterday and busted his face all to pieces. So this is what greeted me when I came home... with him saying, "You should see the other guy, Mom!" Of course, he had the cutest look on his face when he said it. Poor guy though, it looks pretty bad.
He might just get a black eye out of it. :)
My sweet, sweet girls!!

Poor Grant...that is sad that he fell. His comment cracked me up. =)

Your 2 girls are sweet...and growing up so big. I cannot believe that Heidi is 17. UNREAL!! I'm praying that God will guide her future and guide her to the "VERY RIGHT MR. Wonderful"!! (some years from now of course...but it will be here before we know it. ;)

See Grant, I told you how to get all the sympathy from the ladies... a close call, a few scratches, a broken arm and you won't beleieeeve how much attention that will bring...(been there- done that!!) anyway sorry about the war scars! You know what we say... No Pain...No Gain I've always said you were "one tough little tyke"!! Girl's, what happened to the little girl that used to go with me to feed the pigs?! Or the little girl that used to stand in my hand with my arm outstreched for as long as I could hold it horizontal?!And the other one that is soooo much like my dear moma;cooking, sewing, decorating, caring for the one in the crowd that get's overlooked ( O.K. maybe I was laying it on a litle thick about the sewing...you know which skirt I'm talking about, don't you Kate?! ( I'm sorry,I didn't mean to name names!)You both are such good girl's. From loving God with all your hearts, your senses of humor, respect for your FINE mother (I never miss an opportunity! do I?)I'm afraid I'm waaaaaay to proud to call you mine!!Take care and stay off telephone and text messaging! Love, Dad
