My little girls are growing up. Heidi got her license last week and she has been driving her sister around lately. It is not really a good feeling seeing them leave and realizing they are one step closer to independence. Can it be that these were the girls who were in pig tails just a few short years ago? I guess so.... as much as I don't like it. Much better seeing them coming than going.
Having too much fun!

Waah! Sometimes it seems that the days pass slowly, but the years fly by! We miss you all.
Wow - hard to believe! And in 2/3 years I'll join you and Beth with kids driving! Not ready for this!
I feel your pain!
Girl, I KNOW how you feel. I actually cried the night Justin drove himself to church...it just came so fast. And now, here we are planning an 18th birthday party, and heading into his senior year!!!! Boo-hoo!
Vonnie - thank you so much for making me feel older than the hills! What happened to those two little girls I babysat? Precious babies that grew up waaaaaaaay to fast - just like the three in my house!!!
I remember those days very well; and it seems like when they start driving the years pass quicker. )<:
However, what mom didn't tell you is she PUSHED me out the door and told me I had to drive myself to class that evening. Yep, she sure did. I remember her worrying about Mike when he drove to work the 1st time by himself and my dad telling her he'd be okay. Then I get mine and is more than ready to get me out the door. :o) I can't remember what happened with Melinda, though.
I guess I'll join you in about 8 years!
Michelle,
It's the middle child "syndrome" - we aren't special enough to be the first kids and we aren't cute enough to be the babies. We're just us. hahahaha.... that ought to make both our moms feel awful for all the horrid things they did to us. :) Love ya' A. Kathy and Mom.... :)
Wow...that is just plain scary:-D Lol!!!! Leah, you ain't the only one feeling old here:-D lol!!!!
Oh my! I am so not ready for my kids to drive! I think that it will take me the next 4 years to prepare myself! ha! Enjoyed "catching up" on your blog! Lots of fun pictures!
Yep, there's just something about that middle child "syndrome" isn't there? ;o)
Hey you can always use gas prices as an excuse not to LET them. ha ha
We can't afford it... you just have to stay home...
I don't even want to think about when those days hit our home!!!! SCARY
