Well, I have purposefully not written much about my weight loss "journey" this past year, but since I am approaching my 1 yr anniversary I thought I would post my "After and Before" picture. :) Don't know why I did it backwards but I did and I can't figure out how to easily change it so I won't. Anyhow, I've lost 85 lbs. and while it's embarrassing to admit, I am very thankful that the Lord has helped me. Now you all have to pray for me that I keep it off!!! I feel like I have changed my eating habits, I eat way smaller portions and way less sweets. But I am scared to death that it won't "stick". I know the Lord is able to help me and I am praying daily for His help!!

Wow! The difference is unbelievable! You look great! Changing our eating habits can be so difficult but we feel so much better when we do! I am sure that you will do fine keeping the weight off!! Congratulations on the loss!!

WOW WOW WOW!!!! I knew you looked great, but seeing it side by side makes it so much more obvious! You should be so super proud of yourself, this is a major thing you've conquered. You fought way too hard to give up your 'reward' so I'm not worried about you gaining it back. Thank you for posting your pictures! I'm extremely proud of you!

WOW! I am so very happy for you...I know just how difficult it is for me to lose "5" lbs. Losing that much takes ALOT of hard work.... very impressive! You look great! I know that inspires other people who are struggling with their weight...I am glad you shared that with us! I also loved reading about your "tea" and seeing all of the beautiful tables! 'Don't usally comment on your blog, I just jump on at night before I fall into bed to check out what my good-lookin' wife and kids are up to... you look better than you did when I left at 4:30 AM on the 28th of April!! Congradulations! Another beautiful, dead calm, spring evening in St.Mary's without flying up the Andrefski R. to count the Griz', Moose,Caribou, and wolves.I'm sure that is probably a sin.It had to hit 65*today, the snow will leave fast at this rate. Congratulations on your weight loss!! I go to church with Stephen Miller's parents. I take it from a previous post that you work at a Preg. Center doing ultrasounds. I was wondering if you would happen to know the requirements for doing U/S at a Preg. Center? I am an LPN and also volunteer at a preg center that will be going medical by the end of the year. I would like to do the trainging for this if I can. Any info you have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Tanjala Mayle

Vonnie, I'm so proud and jealous all at the same time!!! Congratulations on this accomplishment. You CAN keep it off, but it's going to take some work, right? Changing habits is very important...I'm still trying to do that part. I've got 90 pounds to go!!!! I'll pray for you, you pray for me, and God will help us BOTH! :)
