Katie's (almost) 15

I promised the kids when they were little that each major 5th birthday (5, 10, 15) I would give them a big bIrthday bash. They could choose anything they wanted to do, within reason, and ask as many friends as they wanted, within reason. Then on the other years we would just do small birthday parties with family and one or two friends. So this is Katie's 15th birthday year and her turn to choose. She wanted a sleepover with 7 friends and then go to Pizza Hut. Here are some pictures.

Her friends know her well. Katie loves anything girlie.

Tara, Danielle, Katie, and Catie (you can't see Rachel, Chelsea, and Rosie and Meghan)

Can a trampoline hold 9 teenage girls? (and four bratty brothers?:)

There were 14 of us in Pizza Hut! UGH! (only one of us was over 18, but I'm not telling which one it was:)

Happy Birthday Katie! Thats a great idea for every 5 yrs. I imagine large parties like that every year could get expensive pretty fast! My brother and I were given a big party for our 13th, not sure what our tradition will be for our kids!

Happy Birthday to Katie from Uncle Carson and Aunt Linda! Carson was excited to see the pictures from St. Mary's. It looked like a very nice place but a long ways from home. He is "sorry" Andy has to put up with the Darrell Quesenberry. :) Congrats to Tyler and Taylor for graduating!

We too have chosen not to throw major bashes every year, but have just hit the big ones, like 13, 16, and now I've got an 18th on the horizon!!!! Clayton asked today if he could have his 10th birthday at Thompson-Boling Arena!!! Ha! Yeah, I could just write a check to rent that place!!!! Happy Birthday to Katie, and don't eat too much cake!

Happy birthday Katie, I just got home a while ago from mailing birthday cards and checks to your brothers and graduation cards and gifts for the twins. Your card was mailed the other day so you could have it on time. I thought of telling your Mom that it took half of Gramps check to send those cards and that if you kids weren't so great I was going to tell her that "someone" had too many kids;-)
Your birthday party sounded nice. I understand that your Daddy will be home about midnight tonight. Tell him the pictures of St Mary's make me wish we were there. I will show them to Gramp Have a fun weekend together. Gramp and I love you and to us you are very special.
