Time to decorate!!

The kids and I were bored Saturday and it just seemed like the thing to do, so we decorated for Christmas. I say it was the thing to do because we are leaving in mid December to go to visit my brother and sister and their families in Mexico. We normally wait until after Thanksgiving to decorate.

I am going to buy snow to make my Department 56 village look a little more festive.

We are also going to buy a few more sets of lights to hang around our banisters. Well, Merry Christmas everyone!

You know you could just walk in your backyard and get some snow off the sidewalk. No need to spend money on something you've already got. ;) LOL

The house does indeed look lovely.....a picture of you and the kids decorating the tree would have been nice, too!Did you hang out your stocking? There just miiiight be something from St. Mary's to put in it,if it were there... one just never can tell!! missin' you and the 6 coolest kids on God's "white" earth!! Kim, sorry for not answering you sooner. We are not coming to Bedford during our Christmas break, but we are planning to come to the area for my cousins' wedding on Jan. 31st.... just Andrew and I. (Her wedding is in Cincinnati, but we would spend the night, at least one night, at Mom and Dad's.)

Yay!

Melanie,

I couldn't help notice your comment.

I think that's awesome! Would that more people viewed children as such a blessing!

I'm late putting my tree up this year, but it will probably happen soon. BTW I updated my blog finally. :-)
